The JIF Lighting, under the company name JIF – Comércio de Material Eléctrico Lda, with facilities in São Julião do Tojal, Portugal, in the Lisbon region, is a company dedicated to the industry and trade of lighting equipment, with a particular emphasis on public lighting.
Although we are a relatively young company, the excellence and the quality of our products made us earn the confidence of leading bodies and companies, such as, Lisbon Municipality, EDP, Brisa, EP – Roads of Portugal and many others, which have been an incentive to continue with our working method and way of think planed from the beginning.
Since the manufacture of molds, passing by the injection, until the final product, there’s an obligatory presence of Quality and Innovation which is only possible due to the fact that we control all the manufacturing processes and outcomes.
We manufacture and trade, Electrical switchboards, connectors, Hoods, Columns, Consoles, Lanterns, as well as many other electrical related products.
Traditional Lighting has been one of ours bets in the market. In a partnership with our client CML (Municipality of Lisbon), we have been working aiming to the recovery and maintenance of the historical and cultural heritage such as the new point of lighting at the commerce square, one of the most important historical points of Lisbon, with the lanterns of the Moorish quarter. Other important works made by us are the Columns in the square Marquis of Pombal and through all the Liberty Avenue, and of course the lamps that illuminate the front garden of the Presidential Palace in Belém.
The recognition of the quality of our products have gone beyond boarders, with the presence of our products in various countries, but specially at Marroc, where we have open the first company overseas of the JIF Group, DJM, based in Casablanca.
